Trustee Yvonne Davis relocated to the Village of Dixmoor in 2004, she regularly attended the Village Committee and Executive Board meetings and knew that she had the wisdom and management skills that were needed to help the village grow. She was appointed as Village Trustee in 2006, and is currently serving her third term as a Village Trustee after being re-elected in 2011.

Trustee Davis served as the Chair for the Dixmoor Fire Department from 2008-2013 and is now serving as the Chair for the Dixmoor Building Services and Codes Department since August 2014 and the Co-Chair of the Dixmoor Senior Committee since October 2014, both seats appointed by the current Village President.  For those who know Trustee Davis, respect her honesty and commitment to rebuilding Dixmoor. Trustee Davis knows the importance of involving our citizens with any policy making decisions that are made by the Dixmoor Board of Trustees and has an open door policy where anyone can contact her to discuss their concerns.

Michael A. Smith
Trustee Michael A. Smith is a proud lifelong Dixmoor Resident. First elected in 2009 at 18 as the youngest elected official in Dixmoor and the State of Illinois. Trustee Smith volunteers with the local school Districts 147 as well High School District 205. His desire and passion is to serve the constituents in ways of Cutting Hair, mowing lawns as well snow removal. Trustee Michael Smith is a Member of The New Life Pentecostal Church of God In Christ in Harvey, Illinois under the Leadership of Pastor Leroy Jones Sr. Trustee Smith Attended West Harvey School District 147 and then graduated from Thornton Township High School District 205. Trustee Smith is a licensed Security Officer with Illinois Department of Professional Regulation and will be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Public Administration.  Trustee Smith since elected has an agenda transparency, eliminating deficit spending, creating economic development, creating legislation that will ensure Dixmoor residents first opportunities for employment consideration Create a resource center for Property Tax relief and help, home repair assistance and homeowner education. My name is, Trustee Judnita Smith, I moved to Dixmoor in August, 1995. I am married with three beautiful children who all attended school districts 147 and 205. I have been employed with my current employer for 26 years. I am so grateful to God that you elected me to serve you here in the great Village of Dixmoor, “true leadership is servant hood.” My objective as one of your municipal leaders is to listen and act upon your requests and that is to demolish the townhomes, get the Community Center up and running, and have the streets paved and to bring revenue into our community. Trustee Yolanda Williams- Corner, Lifelong resident, community servant and actively involved since 2001, makes every effort to work collaboratively to improve and stabilize the community. Provide support where needed, promote the development of strategic planning, mentor future leadership, and seek opportunities to make positive differences and enhance the quality of our lives and wellbeing.
  
I have had the pleasure to talk with many of our residents and employees in Dixmoor and surrounding communities.  They have shared with me their thoughts, visions, challenges and successes in the place we all call home.  My focus, energy, and passion are to help solve the problems and challenges that we as a community face now and in the future.  The Village Dixmoor will continue to develop and thrive.
  
Trustee Yolanda Williams Corner - Retired Educator for Chicago Public School system with 35 years of experience.  Cooperative Work Trainer with behaviorally challenged youth and cognitively disabled young adults.  Primary responsibilities to establish and maintain working relationships with community based organizations.  Ensure that students were competitively employed or placed appropriately in volunteer training site and provide job retention services for students.
